Students of the Faculty of Education for Early Childhood- Omnia Ahmed, Randa Aboud, and Fatima Ibrahim- won the second place in the annual convention of self seminars, which was organised by the General Administration of Youth Welfare, on March 18-20, 2024

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Abd Elaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, and Prof. Dr. Said Allam, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Rania Yousry, the faculty’s coordinator of the Combating Violence against Women Unit, participated in a symposium entitled "Youself is Precious, Defend her" held on March 19, 2024. The symposium was presented by Prof. Dr. Wafa Alsahli, Professor of Forensic Medicine at Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University, Dr. Nada Al-Muezzin, Director of the Integrated Association for the Treatment of Psychosocial Crises, Prof. Dr. Manal Fouda, Executive Director of the Anti-Violence against Women Unit at the University, and Dr. Doaa Farouk, Sports Specialist at the Faculty of Physical Education. The symposium discussed how violence against women occurs and how common it is, honoring women and their rights in Islam, Pharaonic women were distinguished throughout the ages, verbal, psychological or physical abuse of women, women's right to file lawsuits, and how to deal with harassers

On behalf of Dean Prof. Dr. Rehab Mahmoud Seddik, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Rehab Saleh accompanied by Prof. Dr. Hala Elgarawany, Executive Director of the Quality Assurance Unit and former Dean, received the Technical Support team of the Quality Assurance Department at Alexandria University, represented by: Prof. Dr. Tharwat Ahmed Abdel Fattah, in charge of monitoring and continuous evaluation, Prof. Dr. Sabah Elbanna, Deputy Superintendent of Quality Assurance and in charge of the scientific sector at the Quality Assurance Centre, and Prof. Dr. Eman Elnakib, in charge of the humanities sector. In addition, the visit took place on March 20, 2024, and some members of the unit were in attendance. This visit aims to follow up the faculty’s procedures for applying for the programs accreditation

Within the framework of the faculty’s keenness to provide and implement all occupational safety and health requirements that ensure preventing risks for the human and physical elements, in addition to providing a safe work environment, and in light of the guidelines set by Prof. Dr. Abd Elaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, Prof. Dr. Said Allam, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Rehab Seddik, Dean of the faculty, and according to the decision of the Occupational Health and Safety Committee in March 2024 to implement a practical training for firefighting operations, a practical training for fire suppression operations was held on March 10, 2024. It included igniting wooden sticks in the faculty’s yard by the Occupational Safety and Health Committee members
