Training of academic advisors on the Mis system

Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rehab Mahmoud Seddik, Dean of the faculty, and Prof. Dr. Rehab Saleh, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and in attendance of Prof. Dr. Sulaf Elhamarawy, Executive Director of the new and specific programs, the academic advisors were trained on their duties on the Management Information System (MIS) on Sunday, July 16, 2023. The trainer was Engineer/ Hany Badr from the university administration.

 

 

 

College Council meeting for the month of July

The Faculty of Education for Early Childhood held the meeting of the faculty council on July 15, 2023. At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Rehab Mahmoud Seddik, Dean of the faculty, welcomed the esteemed members of the council. The topics listed in the agenda were discussed. Prof. Dr. Rehab Saleh, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, presented the topics of the education and student affairs sector. Moreover, the dean of the faculty presented the topics of the postgraduate studies, research and cultural relations sector. Afterwards, Prof. Dr. Amal Mohamed Ahmed, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, presented the topics of the community service and environmental development sector. Moreover, the council approved of the formation of the 2023-2024 faculty council, emanating councils and department councils. In addition, the council agreed on the proposal of the Department of Basic Sciences concerning organising several events at the faculty. The council also recommended approval of the recommendation of the scientific committee of early childhood educational studies for promoting Dr. Manal Saady to the position of Professor of Child Curricula, wishing her all success and distinction

The launch of the “Know You Benefit” initiative in light of the cooperation protocol concluded between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Financial Supervisory Authority

The presidential initiative (Know to Benefit) concerned with developing comprehensive system to train university youth in the field of non-banking financial services and activities is launched, in light of the cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Financial Regulatory Authority.

A training workshop entitled Musical Creativity and Improving the Causes of Happiness in our Arab Societies

Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rehab Mahmoud Seddik, Dean of the faculty, and Prof. Dr. Rehab Saleh, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, the Department of Basic Sciences, in cooperation with the Department of Youth Welfare, organises a workshop entitled "Musical creativity and Improving Reasons for Happiness in our Arab Societies". This workshop is part of a series of free training workshops offered to the faculty’s students.
Workshop topics:
1- Role of music in creating happiness among people in various societies.
2- Role of music in enhancing social relations among family members, relatives, neighbours and co-workers.
3- Role of music in positive, optimistic characteristics acquisition and its impact on physical and mental health.
4- Relation between role of music and religiousness, filial piety, and altruism.

A training camp for the Scouts of the Educational Center for Childhood in cooperation with the College's Scout Clan

Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rehab Mahmoud Seddik, Dean of the faculty, Prof. Dr. Rehab Saleh, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Amal Mohamed, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, the Educational Centre's scouting team, along with the faculty’s roving clan, trained the new generation of scouts under the supervision of Dr. Mona Awad, in charge of the scouts activities at the Centre, and the department of Youth Welfare on Thursday, July 6, 2023.
