Under the auspices of Dean Prof. Dr. Rehab Mahmoud Seddik and Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Rehab Saleh, fourth-year General students Group 2 presented a museum show for 2 museum kits (Fabric) and (Fashion) to the children at the Childhood Educational Centre on 14/12/2023. The show is part of the Child Museum course under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sulaf Elhamarawy, Professor of Child Museum at the Basic Sciences Department, Dr. Hanan Ghoneim, Associate Professor of Child Museum at the Basic Sciences Department, and Dr. Rehab Sharkawy, Associate Professor of Child Museum at the Basic Sciences Department. The practical part was taught to Group 2 by Dr. Elshaymaa Elmarzouki. The show included museum shows, discussions, a museum theatre, artistic workshops and a virtual museum.

The faculty’s students participated in the Alexandria University's Students for Egypt march to support participation in the 2024 presidential elections. The march was organised by Alexandria University's Students for Egypt, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Abd Elaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, and the supervision of the General Coordinator Dr. Sameh Nakhla and the faculty’s coordinator Dr. Rasha Mahmoud. It started on December 10-12, 2023. The march started in front of the University's Administration building under the slogan "Go.. Participate". During the march, the students and participants raised Egypt's flag amid an atmosphere of celebrations and patriotic chants. They celebrated this significant contribution that is considered a patriotic duty which paves the way for the future of our precious homeland, Egypt.

Faculty of Education for Early Childhood held the meeting of the faculty’s council on December 14, 2023. At thehe best for all the faculty’s staff members, teaching assistants and empl beginning of the meeting, the Dean Prof. Dr. Rehab Mahmoud Seddik welcomed the members of the council. The council then discussed the topics listed in the agenda. The council approved several decisions of the Education and Student Affairs Council including the panels structure of the Fall 2023 undergraduate practical exams and exam creation and correction. In addition, it approved the decision of the Basic Sciences Department concerning gifting some educational aids to the Early Childhood Educational Centre and suggesting helding an exhibition for presenting the production of the department's practical courses. The council also approved the departments' decisions regarding the cooperation with the Measurement and Assessment Unit. Moreover, it approved the decisions of the Community Service and Environmental Development committee. It also approved the decisions of the the Scientific Research Ethics committee. It approved the topics of the Postgraduate Studies and Research and Cultural Relations committees. Furthermore, it approved appointing Dr. Ghada Abd Elsalam, Lecturer at the Psychological Sciences Department, in the position of Assistant Professor of Child's Psychology (Special Education) at the same department. At the end of the meeting, the dean wished all toyees.

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Abd Elaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, Prof. Dr. Said Mohamed Allam, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Rehab Seddik, Dean of Faculty of Education for Early Childhood, and Dr. Rasha Gaber, Executive Director of the Childhood Educational Centre (Special Unit), the ceremony of presenting the certificates of completion of a training entitled (Special Education Specialist Preparation) was organised on Saturday December 23, 2023. The Childhood Educational Centre (Special Unit) organised this training from November 15 to December 23, 2023. The training consisted of 30 theoretical hours and 30 practical hours, and it encompassed various fields: behaviour modification, speech therapy, skills development, intelligence measurement, Stanford-Binet test, autism, psychometrics, multisensory therapy, art therapy, diagnosis and treatment, and familial counseling. The trainees were presented the certificates by Dean Prof. Dr. Rehab Seddik and Prof. Dr. Abd Elfattah Ghazal, supervisor of mental evaluation at the Centre, Professor of Mental Health and Former Dean of the faculty, and Dr. Rasha Gaber, Executive Director of the Childhood Educational Centre.
