The council of the Faculty of Education for Early Childhood held its periodic meeting on March 14, 2024. At the beginning of the meeting, Dean Prof. Dr. Rehab Mahmoud Seddik welcomed the members of the council and presented her greetings for the occasion of Ramadan. The dean presented her sincere condolences to Prof. Dr. Ashraf Sherit, Professor of Mental Health and Former Head of the Psychological Sciences Department, for the death of his brother. Afterwards, the council discussed the topics related to the Quality Assurance Unit and the Committees of Education and Student Affairs, Community Service and Environmental Development, Library, Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Research Ethics. In addition, the council approved the topics of the Cultural Relations and Staff Members Affairs Committee regarding the assignment of 2 staff members to the Faculty of Education and Faculty of Physical Education for Girls. At the end of the meeting, the dean wished all staff members, teaching assistants and employees of the faculty all success

At the beginning of the meeting, Dean Prof. Dr. Rehab Mahmoud Seddik welcomed the members of the council. The council discussed the topics related to the Library, Education and Student Affairs, Community Service and Environmental Development, Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Research Ethics committees. In addition, it approved the work of the Awards committee including nominating two staff members for the 2024 Rashid Bin Humaid Cultural and Sciences Award. Moreover, the council approved the decision of the Psychological Sciences Department regarding the appointment of Dr. Eman Mahmoud Khedr, Lecturer at the department, in the position of Assistant Professor at the same department. At the end of the meeting, the dean wished all staff members, teaching assistants and employees of the faculty all success

Under the auspices of Dean Prof. Dr. Rehab Mahmoud Seddik and Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Rehab Saleh, the Pedagogical Innovations and Distance Learning Unit at the faculty organises the 3rd workshop entitled "Activation and Use of Google Scholar". The workshop is a part of the Digital ID initiative, addressed to staff members and teaching assistants. It is presented by Dr. Eman Seddik, the Unit's Executive Director. It is held online on Microsoft Teams on March 6, 2024

Under the auspices of Dean Prof. Dr. Rehab Mahmoud Seddik, the Library committee at the Faculty of Education for Early Childhood Alexandria University held a seminar entitled "How to Use the Egyptian Knowledge Bank". The seminar was presented by Dr. Shaimaa Ebeidy, Lecturer at the Educational Sciences Department and a member of the Library committee at the faculty’s postgraduate studies sector. The seminar presented an overview on the EKB and its importance to children, students, readers and researchers. In addition, the benefits of using the EKB, its resources, advanced search methods, applications, resources and the significance of the children's portal on it were demonstrated. Moreover, Ms. Eman Abd Elkarim, Library Specialist at the faculty, presented the EKB registration steps and discussed the main problems that face the students in the registration process.
