Under the auspices of Dean Prof. Dr. Rehab Mahmoud Seddik and Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Rehab Saleh, and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ghada Elkhayat, Executive Director of the Pedagogical Innovations and Distance Learning Centre at Alexandria University, the Training and Technical Support committee at the Pedagogical Innovations and Distance Learning Unit at Faculty of Education for Early Childhood organised a workshop entitled "Plans and Polices of the Pedagogical Innovations and Distance Learning Unit" on Monday 9/10/2023. The workshop addressed the staff members and teaching assistants. It was presented by Assistant Professor/ Eman Mohamed Seddik, Executive Director of the Pedagogical Innovations and Distance Learning Unit at the faculty. The workshop included a detailed presentation of multiple topics such as an introduction to the aims and tasks of the unit, the suggested areas of development for staff members, teaching assistants and students, the proposed action plan, the unit's organisational structure, the Digital ID initiative for staff members and teaching assistants, and other activities and events that are to be implemented during the current academic year. Finally, the workshop was well-received by the interactive audience.

A visit to the technical support team from the Quality Assurance Department at Alexandria University

On Tuesday 10/10/2023, Prof. Dr. Rehab Mahmoud Seddik, Dean of Faculty of Education for Early Childhood, received a visit from Prof. Dr. Tharwat Ahmed Abdel Fattah, in charge of monitoring and continuous evaluation, and Prof. Dr. Eman Elnakib, in charge of the humanities sector. This technical support team at the Quality Assurance Administration at Alexandria University pays a visit to the faculty to monitor the procedures of applying for accreditation of the Early Intervention Program in the field of Special Education.

Within the framework of celebrating October War, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Abdel Aziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, the Faculty of Education for Early Childhood organised an educational seminar celebrating the golden jubilee of the glorious victory of October War. Dean Prof. Dr. Rehab Mahmoud Seddik and Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Rehab Barghouth hosted the seminar. Ms. Fadya Shokr, Director of Sidi Gaber Media Centre, faculty’s staff members and students were in attendance. In her speech, Prof. Dr. Rehab Seddik highlighted that October's victory was not easy as it was preceded by the 1967 Naksa, or setback. This showed the truth of the Egyptian people as they endorsed their national army, refused to accept the defeat, and endured all hardships in order to support the army. Retired Major General Hashem Abu Alfadl at the Armed Forces gave a lecture on the role of the air defence forces in the war, stressing that October war is unparalleled because it gave an incomparable lesson in the modern war arts. He stressed that the current generations should be inspired by the lessons of this glorious victory. In addition, he stated that October War is a historic war in every sense of the word. Moreover, he stressed on the prominent role of the Egyptian women in the war.He also spotted light on the War of Attrition which encompassed numerous achievements by the armed forces such as sinking Eilat The Destroyer and demolishing Bar Lev Line. Furthermore, he stated that the war showed a wonderful example of Muslim-Christian unity.

Under the supervision of Dean Prof. Dr. Rehab Mahmoud Seddik and Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Rehab Saleh, the Department of Youth Welfare organised a celebration of the 6th of October victory and a reception of fresh students. The celebration included the national anthem, Quran recitation, in addition to cultural and artistic rounds that included poetry, singing, sign language session, choir, playing musical instruments and an exhibition that encompassed all artistic works. The event took place on Tuesday 10/10/2023.

Under the supervision of Dean Prof. Dr. Rehab Mahmoud Seddik and Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, the Department of Youth Welfare organised an event for presenting a documentary film about October War on the 50th anniversary of October victory. The event took place on Tuesday 3/10/2023 at the computer lab.
