the sixth workshop entitled Role of Paper Puppet Theatre in Facing Bullying among Children

Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rehab Mahmoud Seddik, Dean of the faculty, and Prof. Dr. Rehab Saleh, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, the Department of Basic Sciences in cooperation with the Department of Youth Welfare organises the sixth workshop entitled "Role of Paper Puppet Theatre in Facing Bullying among Children".
Workshop topics:
1- What the paper puppet theatre is.
2- How to make paper puppets.
3- Paper puppets and facing bullying.
4- Accepting and tolerating others.
5- Practical applications.
The workshop is presented by Dr. Sherine Elgallab, Lecturer of Theatre, Department of Basic Sciences, on Wednesday from 8 pm to 9 pm on Microsoft Teams.

The Effectiveness Of Program Based On the use of programmed Instruction in Developing some cognative skills and enjoying learning among children with gifted learning disabilities

Based on the decisions of the Psychological Sciences Department, Postgraduate Committee council, and the faculty council, the Faculty of Education for Early Childhood- Alexandria University have set the date of the PhD viva for the researcher/ Rahma Ali Ahmed Mohamed Goda on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at 11 am. The thesis entitled (The Effectiveness Of Program Based On the use of programmed Instruction in Developing some cognative skills and enjoying learning among children with gifted learning disabilities ) is submitted as a requirement for the PhD in Education for Early Childhood from the Psychological Sciences Department.

the fifth workshop entitled Role of Drama Therapy in Eliminating Withdrawal Behaviour among Children with Cancer

Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rehab Mahmoud Seddik, Dean of the faculty, and Prof. Dr. Rehab Saleh, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, the Department of Basic Sciences in cooperation with the Department of Youth Welfare organises the fifth workshop entitled "Role of Drama Therapy in Eliminating Withdrawal Behaviour among Children with Cancer".
Workshop topics:
1- Ability of theatre in expressing souls.
2- Meaning of Psychodrama.
3- how characteristics of children with cancer affect developing withdrawal behaviour.
4- how psychodrama enables children with cancer to communicate.
5- how far the art of grotesque can demolish crisis among children with cancer.
6- how psychodrama and theatre can sustain positive thinking about accepting the disease and managing pain among children with cancer.

The second workshop: Components of the visual image between the sighted and the blind in the Child Theater at the College of Early Childhood Education, Sunday, the sixteenth of July 2023

Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rehab Mahmoud Seddik, Dean of the faculty, and Prof. Dr. Rehab Saleh, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, the Department of Basic Sciences in cooperation with the Department of Youth Welfare organised the second workshop entitled "Components of Visual Image between the Sighted and the Blind in Child Theatre". This workshop is part of a series of free training workshops offered to the faculty’s students. The workshop tackled: the meaning of a visual image, relation between child's instincts and theatrical phenomena, role of imagination in shaping the theatrical image for sighted and blind children, imagination for the sighted and blind, role of child's senses in in shaping the theatrical image, and meaning of Alfred Jarry's theory of imaginary solutions (Pataphysics). At the end, practical applications were presented. The workshop is presented by Dr. Sherine Moustafa Elsayed, Lecturer of Theatre, Department of Basic Sciences, Faculty of Education for Early Childhood. In her attendance, Dean Prof. Dr. Rehab Mahmoud Seddik listened to the students' opinions of the workshop content. The students praised the content because it aims to increase their competence and benefit them theoretically and practically.
