The second workshop: Components of the visual image between the sighted and the blind in the Child Theater at the College of Early Childhood Education

Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rehab Mahmoud Seddik, Dean of the faculty, and Prof. Dr. Rehab Saleh, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, the Department of Basic Sciences in cooperation with the Department of Youth Welfare organises the second workshop entitled "Components of Visual Image between the Sighted and the Blind in Child Theatre". This workshop is part of a series of free training workshops offered to the faculty’s students.

Workshop topics:
1- Meaning of a visual image.
2- Relation between child's instincts and theatrical phenomena.
3- Role of imagination in shaping the theatrical image for sighted and blind children.
4- Imagination for the sighted and blind.
5- Role of child's senses in in shaping the theatrical image.
6- Meaning of Alfred Jarry's theory of imaginary solutions (Pataphysics).
7- Practical application.

Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rehab Mahmoud Seddik, Dean of the faculty, and Prof. Dr. Rehab Saleh, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, the Youth Welfare department organised an artistic workshop for making beads accessories on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 in Room 3. Third-year student, Shahd Hossam, trained 10 of her colleagues as part of the summer activities plan.

Holding training courses to raise theraising the performance level of the administrative employees to improve the performance rate

The faculty’s administration is concerned with raising the performance level of the administrative employees to improve the performance rate. Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rehab Mahmoud Seddik, Dean of the faculty, number of training sessions were held to train the employees. Ms. Amira Mohamed Elwan trained the employees of the student affairs department on the University's MIS system. Dr. Effat Ahmed Abdelghany trained the employees of the postgraduate studies department on the MIS system. Moreover, Mr. Ehab Aly Ahmed trained the employees of the departments of staff members affaris and the cultural relations on the MIS system. The training sessions took place on June 12-17, 2023.

The effectivness of motor activities program in developing kindergarten child's health awareness

Based on the decisions of the Basic Sciences Department council held on 14/3/2023, the Postgraduate Committee council on 15/3/2023, and the faculty council on 19/3/2023, Faculty of Education for Early Childhood- Alexandria University have set the date of the PhD viva for the researcher/ Amany Saad Mohamed Elashmawy on June 25, 2023. The thesis entitled ( The effectivness of motor activities program in developing kindergarten child's health awareness ) is submitted as a requirement for the PhD in Education for Early Childhood from the Basic Sciences Department.

The viva is publicly held at the Early Intervention Centre in Smouha.
