Opening of the summer camp of the Childhood Education Center

Prof. Dr. Rehab Mahmoud Seddik, Dean of the faculty and the chairperson of the Childhood Educational Centre, launched the centre's summer camp. On its first day, the camp started with scouts activities. Dr. Mona Awad, Assistant Professor of Foundations of Child Education and in charge of the scouts activities at the centre, explained that today's events simply introduced the scouting law and provided training on the basics of scouting. In addition, Prof. Dr. Rehab Mahmoud Seddik, Dean of the faculty and the chairperson of the Childhood Educational Centre, met the children's parents and expressed her happiness for beginning the summer camp and for the exquisite level of the children at the centre. Her excellency also listened to the parents' opinions and suggestions, hoping for distinctive summer activities

On Thursday June 15, 2023, the members of the Measurement and Assessment Unit at the faculty were honoured. Prof. Dr. Rehab Mahmoud Seddik, Dean of the faculty, and Prof. Dr. Rehab Saleh Bargouth, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, honoured the staff members, teaching assistants, and administrative staff as an expression of gratitude and appreciation of their efforts in upgrading the examinations process, which has a significant impact on the educational process.

College Council meeting for the month of June

The Faculty of Education for Early Childhood held the meeting of the faculty council on its regular date, the 15th of every month, and the members of council attended. At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Rehab Mahmoud Seddik, Dean of the faculty, welcomed the esteemed members of the faculty council. The topics listed in the agenda were discussed. Prof. Dr. Rehab Saleh, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, presented the topics of the education and student affairs sector. Moreover, the dean of the faculty presented the topics of the postgraduate studies, research and cultural relations sector. Afterwards, Prof. Dr. Amal Mohamed Ahmed, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, presented the topics of the community service and environmental development sector. At the end of the meeting, the dean and members of the council congratulated Prof. Dr. Lamiaa Ahmed Othman as the president of Alexandria University issued a decree for her appointment as a professor at the Department of Educational Sciences.

Prof. Dr. Rehab Mahmoud Seddik, Dean of the faculty, sends her sincere congratulations to Prof. Dr. Eid Abdelwahed, Dean of Faculty of Education and Faculty of Education for Early Childhood, Minya University, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Abdelghany Sherit, Head of Psychological Sciences Department at the faculty, and Prof. Dr. Wafaa Rashad Rawy, Professor of Child Psychology at Faculty of Education for Early Childhood, Minya University as the Faculty of Education for Early Childhood, Minya University won the first place across university in the field of software and applications with a project entitled "Mobile Application to Reduce Behavioural Disorders among Autistic Children". Asmaa Nady Saad, the winning researcher, graduated from Faculty of Education for Early Childhood, Minya University and holds the MA degree from the Psychological Sciences Department with a thesis entitled "Effectiveness of a Program Based on Artificial Intelligence Applications in Learning to Reduce Behavioural Disorders among Autistic Children". The researcher presented the research under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Abdelghany Sherit, Professor of Child Psychology, and Prof. Dr. Wafaa Rashad Rawy, Professor of Child Psychology and former Head of the Psychological Sciences Department. The judges praised the uniqueness of the research as it tackles the artificial intelligence and its applications, one of the most significant issues in the current society.
