Alexandria University held a ceremony in Alexandria Bibliotheca on the occasion of Science Day. The event included honoring the faculty members who had awarded State, regional or international prizes during the period 2010 to 2015 for their scientific excellence and publications.

The ceremony was organized under auspices of Dr. Ashraf El-Shiehy the Minister of Higher Education in the Great Hall. The event witnessed the honoring of faculty members from the Faculty of Kindergarten as following: Dr. Faten Ibrahim was honored for her deanship period. Dr. Hala El-Garawany was honored for her previous position as Deputy for Education and Student Affairs. Dr. Emily Sadek, Dr. Magda Saleh and Dr. Ibrahim Saleh were all honored for their previous positions as Faculty Deputy for Community Service and Environment Development.

The university also honored Distinguished Alumni through the period from 2010 to 2015 as following: Shimaa Ebiedy from 2010 class, Iman Abdel Salam from 2011 class, Rania Yousry from 2012 class, Maram Gamal from 2013 class and Efniky Atta Awad from 2014 class.

The Committee of Graduate Studies and Research at Faculty of Kindergarten approved the decision of Psychology Department regarding distribution of graduate curricula (Diploma-Master-PhD) in autumn 2016 with credit hours system. The decision included nominations for faculty members as academic advisors as following: Dr. Abdel Fattah Ghazal for PhD degrees, Dr. Ashraf Sherit for Master degrees, Dr. Somia Gamil for special diploma and Dr. Soha Amin Nasr for general diploma.

The Committee of Graduate Studies and Research at Faculty of Kindergarten approved the decision of Educational Sciences Department regarding distribution of graduate curricula (Diploma-Master-PhD) in autumn 2016 with credit hours system. The decision included nominations for faculty members as academic advisors as following: Dr. Gannat El-Bakatoushy for PhD degrees, Dr. Rehab Saleh Barghouth for Master degrees and for Diploma Dr. Iman El-Araby and Dr. Amal Mohamed.

The Committee of Graduate Studies and Research at Faculty of Kindergarten, Alexandria University adopted Master degree for Hoda Abdel Moneam – Psychology Department for her thesis entitled “Effectiveness child protection committee in achieving Cerebral palsy”. The thesis was under supervision of Dr. Hala El-Garawany, Dean of the Faculty and Dr. Somia Taha Gamil.
