The Educational Center for Childhood announced for a training course entitled "Physiologist preparation" with 106 study hours form next March to mid May 2017. The course will be held in the Center of Early Intervention in Smouha. The trainees are conferred the title of "Physiologist" and will be permitted to join the syndicate of special needs staff.

Within Alexandria University celebration of the diamond jubilee, a group of lectures was delivered on parents' awareness. The lectures were held on Monday 30^th of January 2017 until Thursday 2^nd of February 2017 in the Child Library in Alexandria Bibliotheca.

The Faculty of Kindergarten in collaboration with the Regional Center of Women's Health and Development organized the lectures where Dr. Hoda Ibrahim Beshir, Dr. Iman El-Araby, Dr. Hend Abelrasoul and Dr. Rasha Hussin instructed on several subjects like; parents' education, proper education methods, violence against children, pedophilia and pedophilia signs  .

Within Alexandria University celebration of the diamond jubilee, a training course was held under title of "Dealing with desegregation students in the three education stages". The course was held on Tuesday 31^st of January 2017 until Wednesday 1^st of February 2017 in the Hall of Dr. seham badr. The course was organized by the Faculty of Kindergarten in collaboration with Social service office.

The course was instructed by Dr. Samar Saad Dewiny and Dr. Hanaa Ibrahim.

Dr. Lamia Othman, the executive director of the Educational Center for Childhood at Faculty of Kindergarten announced for applications in the new academic year 2017/2018. The application will be available starting from 1-March where normal children and special categories are accepted in the Educational Center for Childhood, and Hearing impaired children are accepted in the Center of Early Intervention in Smouha.
