The Dean Dr. Hala El-Garwany called the Faculty Council of Kindergarten, in its monthly meeting to observe minute of silence over the victims of Tanta and Alexandria churches which have been hit by two terror attacks during Palm Sunday celebrations. The Council renewed its condemnation of the tragic attacks that will not affect our country security and citizens union.
The Faculty of Kindergarten held a celebration in Orphan Day under the slogan "Children are in our hearts". The event was held under auspices of Dr. Hala El-Garwany the faculty dean and Dr. Amal Mohamed the faculty Deputy for Community Service and Environment Development. The celebration was organized by faculty students and included puppet theatre, face painting and games for children from orphanages.
The Faculty council of AU Kindergarten nominated Dr. Nilly Saad El Attar, the Assistant Professor at Department of Basic Sciences to attend the annual conference on development of the higher education outputs in Egypt and Arab countries. The conference will be held in Mansoura University and organized by the Faculty of Specific Education on 12-13 of April 2017. Researches and work papers to be delivered not later than 20th of March 2017.

Dr. Amal Mohamed the faculty Deputy for Community Service and Environment Development stated that the Faculty of Kindergarten, Alexandria University will organize a training course for social specialists under title of "Harassment and its signs on child". The course will be held on Wednesday 12 April 2017 in collaboration with the Information Centre of Woman Health and Development. The course will be delivered by Dr. Hend Abdelrasoul, the Lecturer at Department of Psychological Sciences.
