Under the framework of Alexandria University celebrations of the diamond jubilee, the university President Dr. Essam El-Kurdi attended a celebration held by the Childhood Education Center of the Faculty of Kindergarten (CEC) for new batch graduation. The celebration was attended by the Dean Dr. Hala El-Garwany, Dr. Amal Mohamed the faculty Deputy for Community service and Dr. Lamiaa Othman the executive manager of the center.

Dr. Essam El-Kurdi emphasized the role of the Faculty of Kindergarten in supporting the field of childhood and the role of CEC to graduate children able to take responsibility under leadership and supervision of faculty members and using modern education programs and tool.

The Faculty Council of Kindergarten, Alexandria University adopted the decision of the Department of Psychological Sciences regarding the promotion of the Assistant Professor Dr. Rehab Mahmoud Seddik to position of Professor in the same department.

The Faculty Council of Kindergarten, Alexandria University adopted the decision of the Department of Basic Sciences regarding the promotion of the Assistant Professor Dr. Hesham El-Sawy to the position of Professor in the same department.

The Faculty Council of AU Kindergarten nominated Dr. Naglaa Mohamed Ali, the Assistant Professor at Department of Basic Sciences for Abdul Hameed Shoman Award for Children's Literature 2016.
