The Faculty Council of Kindergarten adopted the decision of Higher Studies and Research Committee regrading awarding PhD degree to the student Rehab Kamal Abdel Fattah. The PhD thesis was entitled "Ethical education of kindergarten teacher, (analytical study)". The thesis was under supervision of Dr. Mamdoh Abdel Rahim and Dr. Rehab Saleh Barghoth.

The Faculty Council of Kindergarten approved the decision of the Department of Basic Sciences to nominate Dr. Faten Abdelllatif for King Abdullah II Award for creation 2017/2018. Dr. Faten is Professor Emeritus at Department of Basic Sciences in the faculty and was nominate for the arts prize in for the subject: "The nationality and national identity".

The Faculty Council of Kindergarten approved the decision of the Department of Basic Sciences to nominate Dr. Faten Abdelllatif for the Award of Shields and appreciation certificate.

The Faculty of Kindergarten approved the decision of Graduate Studies Committee regarding the prameters and controls of open book exams for graduate studies. The committee decided to set the following controls:

1- The student must be informed scince the beginning that the final exam will be open book.

2- The Professor must name one reference book that the student can use during the open book exam.

3- The exam questions should be indirect and to help the student to indicate his point of view
