The library’s mission and purpose:
The library seeks to support educational and research needs by providing high-quality information sources in various specializations by establishing an integrated system that ensures the collection of information resources, arranging them, facilitating access to them, and working to support curricula and advanced programs. The library also seeks to extend bridges of partnership.
Community and cooperation with other libraries with the aim of achieving performance levels consistent with international quality standards.
Services provided by the library to beneficiaries
- Facilitating the use of the library’s holdings for beneficiaries from inside and outside the college through internal and external raids of faculty members, supporting staff members, and students.
Undergraduate and postgraduate students and college administrators.
- Providing photocopying services for books, periodicals and scientific theses.
- Providing reference guidance service.
- Helping researchers create accounts on the Knowledge Bank and guiding them in the event of obstacles or problems while dealing with the site.
- Providing the service of publishing and introducing Arabic and foreign books and references on the library’s page on the social networking site Facebook - Providing digital library services in the process of searching for books, references, periodicals, scientific theses, and in the database platforms on the site.
- Providing Internet service for researchers.
Providing the latest books, references, and periodicals on a permanent basis, whether through purchase, gifting, or exchange between the library and various entities.
Advertising electronic library databases in various ways
- Preparing catalogs (traditional and electronic) for the purpose of facilitating the use of basic library services
Library working hours throughout the year:-
Except for Fridays and official holidays, working hours are determined as follows: -
From nine in the morning until two in the afternoon during summer vacation and mid-year vacation.
From nine in the morning until four in the afternoon during the first and second semesters.
From nine in the morning until one in the afternoon during the holy month of Ramadan.
