The Faculty of Kindergarten was established in Alexandria in 1989, for the advancement of the Egyptian children and preparing them to cope up with of information and technology. For the significance of the Egyptian children, Alexandria University is concerned with the necessity of the proper preparation that qualifies them to keep up with progress, which occurs at elevating the performance of the pre-school teachers. Accordingly, changing the name of the Faculty to be the Faculty of Education for Early Childhood to highlight its active role in preparing teachers and specialists in this field.
The Faculty accepts enrollment of students of both genders after finishing the secondary stage. Admission is on the date specified by the administration of the faculty after passing the capabilities' test.
