The Faculty aims at preparing distinguished graduates to work in the fields of education, literature, media, arts, and health for early childhood, according to the needs of the labor market and social values.
Goals:
- The student acquires knowledge of her mission and professional role towards the child, family and society.
- Introducing the student to the kindergarten philosophy, its objectives, development and importance as a distinguished stage in establishing the Egyptian personality.
- Providing the student with scientific theories, the foundations of dealing with the kindergarten children, and how to discover their capabilities, develop their skills, and form their proper attitudes towards themselves and their community.
- Familiarizing the student with the aspects of the kindergarten’s development, its characteristics and needs.
- Introducing the student to the typical specifications of kindergarten facilities and equipment and how to prepare the kindergarten as a suitable educational environment for the teaching and learning of the child.
- Providing the students with methods of working with children and how to face their problems and deal with them in successfully.
- Providing the students with the various necessary skills (musical - technical - motor – linguistic) to deal with the kindergarten children.
- Training the students on recreational skills and various games that contribute to the development of the kindergarten child.
- Providing the students with the necessary social skills to form successful relationships and contacts with the authorities and institutions concerned with kindergartens.
- Providing the student with the various professional skills that enable her to correctly select, design and implement the activities and experiences necessary for the kindergarten child.
- Informing the students about the significance of technical means in the educational process and how to use environmental materials to manufacture the appropriate means for a kindergarten child.
- Providing the students with various evaluation methods and how to use them.
